The Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center serves South ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ State University, the Brookings community and the region. It is a state-of-the-art performing arts center that is the home for concerts, theatrical and dance performances, special events and SDSU’s School of Performing Arts.

Prairie Repertory Theatre

Each summer SDSU’s Prairie Repertory Theatre produces and performs four musicals and/or plays over the course of several weeks. The Prairie Repertory Theatre company comprised of SDSU and non-SDSU students has been in existence for over 50 years.
